Eliud Kauffman Actor

Eliud started acting in his high school drama program. His big break in movies came with the Roberto Duran biopic "Hands of Stone" starring Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez and Ana de Armas. He booked the role of Duran's father Margarito Duran off his audition tape. Since then, he has had the privilege of working with extraordinary talent in films (The Intern, Concessions, Regarding Veronica), television (FBI, Blue Bloods, Law & Order SVU, Boardwalk Empire) and on stage (Night of the Iguana at the Signature Theatre NYC). His favorite projects explore the heartbreaks, joys and sublime beauty of the human experience.

Thrilled to be playing Franklin Hart Jr. in the fantastic musical adaptation of the 1980's hit movie. to be a part of this fantastic project shooting May 2024. Show opens April 16th and will run for three consecutive weekends at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood, NJ. "CONCESSIONS" Feature Film written & directed by Mas Bouzidi

Had so much fun filming the role of Pedro for this project.

Film stars the late Michael Madsen in his final project, Josh Hamilton & Steven Ogg. Film premiered August 15, 2025 at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Stay tuned for news on where the film lands for distribution.

INNER CIRCLE TV

Excited to be playing role of Peter Dunn, husband to a up and coming NYC politician in this new TV series. This is a story about the highs, lows and gritty side of New York City politics. Shoot was August 2025. Currently making the festival circuit.

JAWS at Portland Center Stage

Had an amazing time working on a musical workshop of "Out There" and incredible new musical, story by Isaac Gomez and music by Micha Rodriguez and directed by William Carlos Angulo. The team and incredible cast was an amazing first experience working on a musical. I've been wanting to break into musicals and have been working with a voice coach for a few years. This story about three Latino friends and their families moved me to the core. It's a universal story about friendship, love and the ties that bind.

I am so honored to have been selected as the Spanish spokesperson for Colonnial Penn Insurance. We shot the spots in June 2025. They are currently in post, and I can't wait for them to start airing on Spanish TV outlets. So next time your binging on your favorite telenovela, you just might see me in the new Colonnial Penn TV commercials!

NANTUCKET PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (NPAC)

Thrilled to be on the Artistic Advisory Board for NPAC, a fantastic new art center in Nantucket, a place close to my heart. NPAC’s mission is to honor Nantucket’s long and rich theatrical history while offering a launchpad for new works, fostering educational opportunities, and serving as a cultural partner to the island’s many arts organizations. NPAC just purchased The White Heron Theatre which will be the new home to NPAC. Exciting news! Stay tuned for more news for events at NPAC Summer 2025!

About

ELIUD GARCIA is originally from Mexico's industrial capital of Monterrey, Mexico but grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is proud of his Mexican roots and South Texas upbringing. Eliud easily navigates between Spanish and English.

He is grateful to have found his passion in life and to work at something he loves whether on the stage or on a TV or film set. His favorite projects and characters are found in stories that explore the heartbreaks, joys and sublime beauty of the human experience,

Eliud attended Princeton University, the first in his family to graduate college. He then completed the Acting Conservatory at T. Schreiber Studio in New York. He has had the privilege of working with Oscar winners Robert De Niro, Patricia Arquette and Julianne Moore and other respected actors like Steve Buscemi and Edgar Ramirez.
